The President announced the readiness of the Islamic Republic of Iran to cooperate with Tanzania in the field of providing technical-engineering services, construction of dams and power plants, and in the fields of agriculture and industry.
Speaking in a meeting with Ms Samia Hassan, the President of Tanzania, on Thursday evening local time, on the sidelines of the 15th BRICS Summit in Johannesburg, South Africa, Dr Seyyed Ebrahim Raisi welcomed the development of cooperation, stressing the activation of the joint commission for economic cooperation between the two countries as well as planning to improve the level of economic and cultural relations.

In this meeting, Ms Samia Hassan, the President of Tanzania, while welcoming the activation of the joint commission for economic cooperation with Iran, said, “Iran and Tanzania have friendly political and diplomatic relations, and the economic relations between the two countries should grow in proportion to these relations”.
