Official Opening Ceremony Marks by “Tanzania Trade Development Authority” (TanTrade) the Commencement of “the 47th Dar es Salaam International Trade Fair”.
Dar es Salaam, July 5th, 2023 – The 47th Dar es Salaam International Trade Fair (SABASABA) officially opened on July 5th with a grand opening ceremony graced by the esteemed presence of the Prime Minister of Tanzania, H.E. Mr. Kassim Majaliwa, along with high-ranking government officials, city council members, foreign dignitaries, contractors, traders, and enthusiastic customers.

Prime Minister Majaliwa underscored the significance of fostering domestic industries and establishing robust trade partnerships with nations worldwide during his address. Recognizing the “Saba Saba fair” as an exceptional avenue for trade development and international relations, he affirmed the Tanzanian government’s commitment to expanding product exports to global markets. Moreover, he emphasized the government’s efforts in facilitating interaction and engagement with other countries and exhibition participants.

Following the Prime Minister’s speech, the official opening ceremony concluded, allowing participants to leverage this occasion to network, forge connections, and nurture business relationships.
Drawing in participants from across the globe, the annual trade fair in Tanzania encompasses diverse sectors, including agriculture, food, industry, tourism, and more. The fair boasted an impressive turnout this year, with over 3,500 local and foreign business exhibitors actively engaging in the event.

The “Saba Saba fair,” which commenced on June 28th and ran until July 13th, enveloped the bustling city of Dar es Salaam, Tanzania. Enthusiasm runs high as attendees eagerly anticipate witnessing the establishment of successful business alliances among participants.
